Stanley Edwards
Stanley Edwards received his National Diploma in Photography from the Port Elizabeth Technikon and has worked as a producer / director for production houses in Johannesburg and Cape Town. In June 1992 he co-founded Platypus Productions as a full service production house for commercial, broadcast, corporate and DVD production. Besides directing productions, he evaluates and finds marketing and communication applications for new media technologies with a focus on video delivery over multiple platforms.
Piers Buckle
Formally trained as a graphic designer, I went into the magazine publishing arena and have worked across several titles most recently Men’s Health as Creative Director. Launched Men’s Health Living magazine and edited it for 13 Issues. Left in January 2008 to start the creative agency TypeFace Media (www.typefacemedia.co.za) with ex-colleague and Men’s Health editor, Andy Ellis. Haven’t looked back. I enjoy pasta dinners, walks on the beach at sunset and Arnold Schwarzenegger movies. I also collect visual ephemera and stray typographic specimens
